Online payments

Online payments connected with every appointment

Give patients a fast payment option and let the team see the booking and payment status in the same workflow.

The result

What changes in your daily work

MyMedCal integrates appointment payments with Tpay. A facility can use online payments alongside bank transfers or as the required method for selected bookings, while successful transactions are reflected in the appointment record.

  • A shorter path from booking to payment
  • Automatic payment status for successful Tpay transactions
  • Less manual matching between appointments and transfers
  • The option to protect selected time slots with a prepayment rule

In practice

How it works

  1. 1

    Enable the payment model

Connect a verified Tpay account and decide which appointments should offer or require online payment.

  2. 2

    Patient receives a payment path

A payment link is generated for the appointment according to the facility's configuration.

  3. 3

    Status returns to MyMedCal

A successful Tpay transaction automatically marks the related appointment as paid.

Frequently asked questions

Which payment provider does MyMedCal use?

MyMedCal integrates online appointment payments with Tpay. The facility creates and verifies its own Tpay account.

Can online payments be optional?

Yes. Tpay can work alongside information about a traditional bank transfer, depending on the facility's configuration.

Can we require payment only for first visits?

Yes. Online payment rules can be enabled for first appointments or for all appointments.

Is a successful payment marked automatically?

Yes. When Tpay confirms a successful transaction, the related appointment is automatically marked as paid in MyMedCal.

What happens when a required payment is not confirmed?

The appointment remains in the payment-confirmation workflow for the configured period and can then be cancelled so the time returns to availability.

Can staff match a payment with an appointment?

Yes. The transaction identifier visible in MyMedCal corresponds with the identifier in the Tpay panel.

Are provider fees fixed by MyMedCal?

No. Account verification and transaction fees are set by the payment operator and should be checked against the current Tpay offer.
